Carrying around my phone but not being able to access my 2,000 or so contacts and sync my calendar is, to say the least,ДЄn inconvenience. I want to resolve this issue because I would like to sync my Outlook Contacts with my HTC. I have seen numerous postings in other forums (namely Sprint and HTC) where this is identified as an issue, but neither HTC nor Microsoft seem to be able to find theДЇix. They finally referred me to Microsoft, saying it is an issue on their end. I've spent hours on the phone with HTC uninstalling and reinstalling their software and working through a number of possible fixes for this issue.

While I am able to install their software and to sync music and photo's, I am not able to sync with Outlook. When I install the HTC Sync Manager software, I get an error that says 'Device driver software was not successfully installed: MTP USB Device - Failed'. I am having a problem getting HTC Sync Manager to recognize my phone (its an HTC Evo LTE from Sprint). If prompted by User Account Control, then click Yes to apply permission to allow the program to run with full permission as an administrator.
